Academic and Research review committee

The Academic and Research Review Committee is being constituted as per the Board of Directors meeting held on 27th August 2019. The main objective of the committee is to review and assess the Academic and Research activities of the college. The committee is having a Chairman, HOD’s of various disciplines as members, member secretary, Joint member secretary, Permanent invitees and Special invitees.

The functions of the academic research and review committee :

The committee will assess the quality of research and academic activities and quantify the progress in terms of quality of academic performance ,publications , patents and other research activities of the college
The committee will also encourage the faculties of various disciplines to undertake research of multi discipline and multi institutional nature.
The committee will assess/review the possibilities of MoU with nearby institution and universities with GEMS Arts & Science College.
The research activities on going/project to be undertaken/PG Training report etc would be encouraged to present at the review meeting
Invited lectures and talks on current/recent topics by the faculties and the visiting faculties will also be encouraged at the college campus
The outcome of the research review committee meeting will be recorded and the report will be submitted to Directors Board /Council or any other Organization required for the official purpose
The committee will have a sitting twice in a year to review the progress of the academic and research activities undertaken at different department of the college.
