Prelims and Mains will be the two stages of the RPSC RAS 2025 Combined Competitive Exam. There will be a qualifying round in the preliminary round and a selection mains. Only those who pass the preliminary exam will be invited to the main exam; the preliminary exam serves as a screening test.
- There will be 200-mark multiple-choice questions in the RPSC RAS preliminary exam.
- It will be graduation-level challenging.
- General Knowledge will be the sole paper on the RPSC RAS Prelims Exam.
- The admit card for the RPSC Mains Exam will be given to the candidates who pass the preliminary exam.

RPSC RAS Mains Exam Pattern 2025
Those applicants who pass the preliminary exam can take the main exam. Fifteen times the total number of openings will determine the number of applicants.
- The main exam will consist of a descriptive paper.
- There will be four papers, and it is required that you attempt them all.
- GS Papers will have a graduation-level difficulty level. General Hindi and English, on the other hand, will be more challenging than secondary school.
- The merit list will be prepared using the scores from the Mains Exam.
- Ten long questions, five medium questions, and two short questions will be asked.
